Tomorrow is Christmas Day for the Heinichen clan. My mom has to drive up to the bay on Christmas Eve for work and Scott and Addie are going up with them.
We went and watched The Force Awakens tonight and had a good time. We wrapped all the presents, which is genuinely a Christmas miracle. I can’t believe that happened…a DAY before Christmas? Unheard of in the Heinichen household. I’m not sure that’s ever happened, actually. But, we did it.
Both Scott and Addie pretty much felt the same way about Star Wars. Fun. Had problems, but able to be overlooked because the film got right what it needed to. I responded to the movie the exact same way the second time as I did the first.
Having three pups on the bed is a lot of pups 😛 Jojo is all up on me tonight. He’s such a sweet dog. So much personality. Coco was washed today because she got so dirty on the nighttime walk. It rained all day today. That was a freak thing. It never does that in LA, but it did today. It’ll be green for the next couple days. I should go golfing 😛
Oh, and we ate tacos tonight. We weren’t going to, but mom was feeling the hanger, and that’s what she wanted to eat, so we ate them 😛 We’ll do chicken tomorrow. Going to miss them when they leave on Thursday. Sad face. At the same time, it will be nice to get a couple days off, you know? Decompress.
I will say this, watching the Star Wars movie really made me want to tell stories. Reminded me of how much fun and inspiring they really are.
