I have the phrase “don’t operate heavy machinery” floating through my head right now because I took some cough medicine a bit ago, along with some Benadryl for dem allergies, and my head is feeling a bit on the heavy side 😛
I worked my ass off today. Jesus. No butt left to speak of.
It was up at 6:45…no, scratch that, it was 7am bc I let myself get 15 extra minutes of shut-eye…to meet with the building workers who were re-doing the sheet rock on a unit upstairs that had a leak. I stayed up with them until 1pm for that, minus an hour while they went to the hardware store for supplies which was perfect because I got to eat some breakfast.
I did Flix work while I was up there. That was nice. It’s usually so hard for me to focus on work when I’m not in my own “environment,” but I was totally able to do that shit today.
Ate some lunch, did more Flix work, and then settled in for a long, long afternoon and evening of narrations. Got everything done I wanted to. Huzzah.
And now, I am exhausted, and ready for the sleeps. Ending this year working hard, just how I like. Hitting goals. I hit a fair number of those this year. I could have done better…but I did much better than I could have, too. More on those kinds of thoughts later, though. For now, it’s sleep, sprinkled with a little reading in bed.
Oh, and last but not least, Liz is out with Kristen for their normal boozy bingo nights…and Kerry and Emily are out there with them, and they’re all cackling up a storm. It’s amazing. Love having them as guests 🙂 For reals. It’s the best.
