Guys…I wrote 3,700 words today. Boom!

It was my first day of timing and tracking my word count for these writing sessions, or “sprints” as the indie author community is wont to call them. Let me tell you something: it works. Time yourself, and track the results. Already I can tell you it works.

My WPH (words per hour) today were 1,805. I bet within a week I can get that up to 2,000 words an hour…maybe in a month, double it to 4,000. We’ll see how it goes.

So, yeah. Today rocked. It was exhausting.

I should also confess that I didn’t *quite* finished the monster scene. And it truly is a monster of a sequence. So many events, so many twists and turns and obstacles to overcome. I hope it doesn’t drag on TOO long now…but I don’t think it will. The sense from reading through and notes from others were that the whole sequence could be expanded, and now it is.

I also got my other work done today too, Flix and narrating. And crashed for a 90 minute nap that was clutch.

It’s time for bed. It’s past 11.

Good night everyone. Hopefully more interesting stuff tomorrow 😉
