Okay…

I kicked ass today. I stayed on schedule for my entire friggin day. Yes!

Here’s the key, and it’s seriously all thanks to my wife: I had the entire morning to work free of distractions. It made all the difference. It was a world of difference.

I will say this…I’m frustrated with my progress on my outline thus far. I still feel like I have some major stuff to figure out…but, maybe that’s normal. Maybe there will always be stuff to figure out, even when I’m DONE with something, let alone in the planning stages. I don’t know. I haven’t written enough books to know the answer to that.

Here’s what I do know: I put in the hours today…and if I can just do THAT…I think I’m going to be just fine. Just clock in and put in the hours. Set goals, and hold myself to them, sure…but the key to reaching them is always consistency. Do less more often. Thanks Dallas!

It’s late, guys, and I had drinks at dinner tonight with Liz’s managers. They’re (genuinely) good people. They really fight for my wife and get her into casting sessions that she deserves to be in. But on top of that, they’re easy to hang out with. Funny, good stories…it was a nice dinner. I’m glad I got to tag along.

Now it’s time for the sleeps.

I did good today. I got in everything I wanted to. It was a big win. Finally.

Finally.

Good night.
