Whew! I had a day off today. A *real* day off.
Of course, I ended it with some work just now on ye old computer 😛 But, I did take it easy today. Tomorrow: it’s back into the fray for Escape from Red Tower. Gotta read through that thing and decide what all my changes are going to be. Ideas are percolating.
This is what I’ve realized and learned writing this particular book (and writing gods, please let me learn SOMETHING from every book I write): it’s the process that brings out the ideas far more than it is TIME. As I work through the process of writing and now re-writing, the ideas on how to fix and expand or contract things are coming to me. Ideas that I was trying so, so hard to come up with in vain earlier. But, the process has provided. I wonder if there are other writers out there who experience the same thing…
The Ho and K-bear are in the living room right now talking about rape and murder. You know, normal Friday stuff. They’re watching some documentary or show about muders 😛 True Crime; it’s their new thing.
I watched the Warriors win tonight, which was awesome! They completed a sweep of their 6-game road trip, and the last two wins were without Curry! Huge. They are DEFINITELY not the same team without him, man…not even close. He raises them up to a whole other level…but even so, they’re still one of the best 3 or 4 teams in all of the NBA without him on any given night. That’s how deep this team is. It’s amazing. I totally understand why people hate them so much 😛 But, when it’s your childhood team, it’s DOPE.
I think that’s all I have for you fine folks tonight. I finished my Flix work yesterday by rallying and getting work done at night…I took a day off and played Skyrim and took naps and watched basketball today…now, it’s just you and me, manuscript. Let’s do this. We have three weeks. THREE WEEKS.
