This second novel is so much to get ahold of sometimes. I think that's why this particular rough draft has been so..."rough." It's been so much to wrap my head around, it's hard to handle as a whole, and so I've just started combating that by, first of all, separating...

I wrote today. Not as much as I wanted, but I did write 500 words. My minimum. Tomorrow, it will be closer to 1,000...which means I *will* hit my stated goal of 90,000 words by Sunday. So, after all that angst and hand-wringing...here I am, right where I want to be....

Today was a bit helter-skelter...but it was a great day. It started with a little extra sleep - I was pretty wiped from a week of a "new" schedule with new expectations (read: I will write every day). But the day then REALLY began when I pounced on the Ho, waking up...
