Got my work done today. The Niners won and I got to listen to the game whilst I worked. I took the pups for a walk. All that was great. But, what was the greatest…
WAS THAT LIZ WAS IN A LIFETIME MOVIE TONIGHT.
Yes, that deserved all caps. She was amazing, of course. I thought it was cool that she got to do several scenes with Method Man, who was a fixture of my childhood as a member of the Wu Tang Clan. He was the best MC of the group, in my opinion. Not the most talented music-wise of the group, but the best MC.
It was called Seasons of Love, I’m sure Lifetime will be playing it several more times, and it was delightful. Very proud of my wife (how weird is it to say that still?).
I was also proud of myself for getting my writing done, all my work done, and still being able to sit down and watch that with her 🙂 Oh, and walk the pups. It was a very successful day. I’m a bit wiped out right now, but it is what it is. I knew this schedule was going to wear me down a bit.
The main thing is: I’m on task and on pace. Where I should be. That’s the goal, to stay on target for the next three weeks+ to close out the year. The bank accounts could definitely use it 😛
Writing continues to cruise. I’ve definitely found the next wind, being in the middle/end of the third act right now of the story. Not that books necessarily follow a three-act structure, but they still kind of do. There’s always a beginning, middle, and an end. I’m right on pace with that, too. I’ll be finished with the thing right before Christmas.
Okay, that’s all for tonight. I feel zapped right now, and a bit spaced out. Partly because I had a moment with my new keyboard where it was refusing to connect properly, even though I was doing what I’d done before to fix it…maybe the battery is running low on it? I’m not sure. But, it wasn’t a good way to start a blog entry out 😛 Not with the fact that I use this thing twice a day every day. I’ll have to keep an eye on this issue, and hopefully it doesn’t come back.
Anywho, that’s all for now! See you all tomorrow. More work to be done!
