…at the end of the tunnel. I see it. I can see it!
This editing work is a lot harder with no “easy” lessons to choose from, lemme tell you. Well, I worked my butt of today. There were a couple spots of distraction here and there, but all in all, I really kept focus. These lessons just really demand a lot of work. Some more than others.
I’m already almost through the Star Trek animated series. It sounds impressive, but really, they’re only 20 minutes apiece. And, they only made 22 of them. It’s a really, really odd mix of traditional Star Trek, and saturday morning cartoon for kids. I find it kind of fascinating, actually. It’s definitely not a very good show, at all. I think just being a half hour makes that the case, at least if you’re trying to fit in a full hour’s show of story into a half hour program. It just doesn’t work. Everything is exposition. But, there is some fun artwork, actually. The animation itself is really bad, but again, some of the concepts are really cool. Mostly, my fascination is simply that it’s this totally weird, awkward show from the 70s, and they have the whole cast there lending their voices. It’s a historical oddity.
I’m *really* tired right now, so it’s off to bed with me. I’ll do more blabbering tomorrow. I still have quite a bit of work left to do…but, I’m going to spread it out over several days, so it won’t be too painful 😉 And, end this month on TIME. It shall be glorious, my pretties. Glorious, indeed.
