The Panda-mobile has new tires! Pandas around the world rejoice!
That was kind of the main feature of the day, the getting of the tires. We got them from Costco, and it was a bit of an adventure, not all of it pleasant, but it was done. And very overdue, to be honest. I think we got told that car needed new tires like a year ago :S
We also got Liz some more cans of the copper paint she’s using for the crafting cart she got the other day, so that’s exciting. I was going to put together her last new piece of office desk-ness, this file cabinet thing, but I ran out of time, alas.
I did do the laundry, and we got the dishes cleaned just now, and we DID get to take a nap…that was amaze-balls.
Oh! But I got my writing hour done this morning! That was awesome. I didn’t actually write any *new* pages, but I did a re-read of those I had written and tightened things up here and there…and I’m really happy with it. Huge! I wasn’t sure how I was feeling about the first quarter or so of this story, but now I’m super happy. It sets up the next 3/4 of the story so perfectly. I wanted this particular event to come as a complete shock, and not in a “what the fuck” kind of way, but rather an “oh SHIT…so THAT’S what’s happening?!” kind of way…and I think it totally is. So, yeah. Good news. I get to roll with plot for a while after this, so hopefully I can churn the pages out nice n’ fast-like.
I also got to play a little bit of skyrim tonight after dinner. I went grocery shopping…it was another long day. I’m pretty wiped. Ended the day going over an audition scene with da bear.
It’s another shorter one tonight. I just seem to keep coming to bed too late and wanting to get the entry done before I fall completely asleep. Maybe tomorrow I’ll be better at that. We’ll see 😛
