The Ho just described today as “weird”…and it was. Mostly because it had this trip all the way out to Chino in the middle of the day, and we both kinda worked on either side of that trip.
Why out to Chino you might reasonably ask? Well, because there was a Shih Tzu meetup today and we all went. Love these things, these meet ups. There are a ton of Tzus running around, being all cute, and cool peeps that are also crazy about their dogs to trade war stories with. There was a Tzu named Gizmo that was out visiting from Chicago, and so everyone kinda rallied around that. By “everyone” I mean this group of Instagram Shih Tzu accounts that Liz has gotten into. Instagram is still one of the few havens, at least for us, on the internet where the trolls haven’t ruined everything. Coops and Coco passed 10,000 followers the other day, too! That’s legit, yo.
Anywho…I worked, got all of it done, and played about 45 minutes of Skyrim and here we are.
Oh! And I watched a movie today while I ate my meals so I can keep on track with finishing the year at 100 movies. 6 away with 4 days to go. Totally got that shit. I’ll watch three of them tomorrow 😛
Tonight I watched Upside Down which is the French-made movie with Jim Sturgess and Kirsten Dunst. A fantasy-SciFi…though “scifi” is an extremely loose term with this movie. It was ravaged by the critics and never released here in the states…but it should have been. It was too simple in places, and overly indulgent on the sweet side of things at times…but I liked it. It was mostly likable, and I don’t need a story to be super original as long as the characters are enjoyable, and they were. It was also visually absolutely stunning. Seriously. Stunning. Anyway…if you’re in the mood for a romantic movie with some pretty visuals and a very light storyline, Upside Down is your flick; just don’t expect it to blow you away.
