Today was a decent day guys, which is weird saying that since there was a large portion of the day where I felt genuinely depressed. And I don’t mean for any reason in particular. There wasn’t anything that happened that got me feeling down and grinding my gears to get anything done…it just happened. Around 1pm or so.
I thought maybe it was because I was hungry, but that didn’t help it either. But…somehow I managed to get a lot done today. For reals. I just bit the bullet and got shit done.
I wrote. Three pages, which isn’t four, but still. I did it. As long as I keep plugging away as much as I can, I’ll be within striking distance. I’m almost 40 pages in. That’s 13,000 words. It’s already a short story. Awesome.
I got Netflix work done. Caucused with my boss, figured out how I can get some work done while some other wheels are out there spinning.
I caught up on some financial paperwork and set that stuff straight. Paid some actor dues. Set aside some money for upcoming payouts.
I edited together another episode of Two Guys One Trek. It’s a fun podcast. I hope people will like it. I only have TWO more with this stupid crackling issue that’s made these first episodes take soooooo freaking long to edit down. At least twice the amount of time, if not more. Hopefully next week I can afford to do three a day. That would set me up nicely to put that shit out on time. But, we’ll see. It’s not the end of the world if the first season is posted a bit late.
I talked to my bro a bit whilst I walked the dogs. I think getting to talk to him for a bit and walking the pups helped me get out of my funk. But it was also just not giving up on my day and continuing to work and get stuff done, too. Grateful that I was able to do that, and I have to give another genuine shoutout to the Ho, who covered the building matters so I could work. She’s been a freaking life saver fuh reals. Scott was good; working too. Starting his CAREER now as a Physical Therapist. Not just a job anymore…a career. So goddamn proud of him.
I got to watch bits and pieces of the A’s game, which ended in dramatic fashion; Khris Davis hit a walk off grand slam in the bottom of the ninth to get Madson off the hook for a blown save. That was fun. Texted Joe a bit back and forth afterwards.
Now, it’s bed time.
Hopefully another good day tomorrow, yo. Josh and I will be (hopefully) closing out season 1 of the original Trek. Boom. See yous on the flip.
