The wind is shaking my parents’ trailer.
Every so often, a gust wobbles it back and forth. We have the heater running right now, and the fan for it is right above us and quite strong, so it too sounds like the wind.
We drove up to the Bay today. It was a pretty easy trip. We’ve done it so many times, that drive from LA up the 5 and over west to San Francisco. We have our stops that we always make: Panoche on the way up and Kettleman City on the way back. Get some food, switch out driving, and let the pups out for some peeing and walking around.
The heater just switched off, but the fan continues to blow. I think it might actually be nice white noise from the back sleeping area.
This trailer is dope, yo. So much better than the last trailer they were living in for so long. This one is easily twice the size, and brand new. Full kitchen. The shower is big enough to stand and turn around in. And we’re currently in these two recliners that face the big flatscreen TV. I mean…if one were to RV, this would be the way to do it. I can see the appeal.
The Coco is curled up on my lap. She’s wedged herself between my leg and the armrest. She cracks me up. She loves burying her face when she sleeps. Such a cutie pie.
We got here and almost immediately took her on a walk around the bayside park that was literally right down the street. It was really nice. I miss that living down in LA. That there are such nice wild places to walk around pretty much 5 minutes away from anywhere. The only downside of this particular park was that there were fox tails everywhere, which are a big no-no for small dogs like the Coco. They can get into her paws or her underside or even her eyes and they burrow. They can be a big problem. But we made sure the Coco didn’t pick any up.
Anywho…it was a long day. I’m wiped. Hopefully get some writing done tomorrow, but we’ll see. It’s all about the Ho family with this trip. Whatever they need.
Good night, y’all! Till tomorrow.
