I’m a broken record, you guys. I’m so sorry 😛

I’m beat. Been working too hard. I have a work day today…and then two days off. And fuck it, I am going to do NOTHING. Well…*almost* nothing. Some editing here and there for the podcast, but that’s it.

Tomorrow, it’s a full work day. But after that…count me out. I need some goddamn time off. At home. In my bed.

I’m back. I just had to figure out some calendar shenanigans. The Ho changed a password. Shit got real. You know how it goes.

The Josh and I trekked today. We were so gassed by the end…but man, it *always* seems like we do our best podcasting when we’re tired. I’m not joking. It’s totally true. Doesn’t matter if the episode is good or bad, right as we’re hitting that last episode, or that last segment, we find this second wind, or this last effort and stumble across something completely unexpected that makes us giggle or blows our minds. It’s a lot of fun. ALOT of work, but a lot of fun.

We both realized today that we’ve *worked* together, meaning sitting down to actually accomplish something creative, like film, act, write, record, edit, etc., worked together for 7 years and literally thousands of hours. Thousands. It’s a special relationship. For sure. Just like George Bush and Tony Blair. That’s an HBO joke. Look it up.

The day started off with a bit of building work, then it was butt in chair for work for the Flix, and then it was off to the other side of the hill to watch Trek with Josh and that took me all the way to evening times. Came home, ate some food and watched the Warriors close out game 1 against the Cavaliers, then the Ho and I walked the pups together, and then I did some TG1T editing to round the night out. I will say this: I *am* getting faster at it. The editing of the episodes. It’s also giving me listening fatigue for sure. Having heard everything before several times. But, gotta push through that. Get it done. Season 1 is coming.

That’s all she wrote tonight, you guys. Looking forward to being done with launching the podcast, and getting back to the writings. My two books are sitting…waiting. Wondering why I left them. Now is the time, they say…and I say back, I know. I know. I’m coming for you.
