Liz is watching some of the Captain’s Vlog from last year. I love them so much, I don’t know why I don’t do them more often, to be honest. Probably because they would take up so much freaking space on my phone and on my iCloud. Oh, logistics. But, I do love having them and watching them every so often. Little postcards of our life, you know? It’s fun to watch them every so often.

I had a good day today. It wasn’t a full day “off” because I did a decent chunk of narrations. Kind of “catch up” for narrations, because I didn’t do almost any during the week, I was so busy doing Flix work.

Oh, Jesus. I know, I know. I talk so freaking much about my work. It’s just what’s on my mind whenever I sit down to write these entries at the end of the night.

Here’s something: I watched “Destination Moon” tonight, which you can see if you watch the vlog attached to this blog entry. I’d seen a poster for it on Netflix one day, like two years ago (I think) and put it on my queue. Well, it came this week, and I was like: Imma gonna watch dat shit this weekend. So, I did it old skool: made myself some tortellini, cuddled up with the pups, and watched a classic SciFi flick from 1950.

I actually had no idea it was so old. 1950 is pretty damn back-in-the-day. It was also co-written by Robert Heinlein, which I had no idea about. I could see his fingerprint all over the film, including some impressive scientific accuracy, actually. It wasn’t *exactly* like how the moon landing happened 19 years later, but it was pretty damn close. They got all the major points correct. I thoroughly enjoyed myself watching it.

Also too a nap today and watched some baseball. It was a swell day, as they would have said back in 1950. A swell day indeed.

Catch y’all on the flip!
