Life is good. I’m in bed with the Ho next to me, and the Coco snuggled up by our hips as we sit up in bed, me writing this entry and Liz looking at doges in glasses on her phone. And Coops is curled up down on the floor next to me. Darth Danby chugs along, giving us cool air for the bedroom. Life is good.

Today could have been a disaster due to some rather extensive apartment stuff that needed to be handled, but both the Ho and rallied. We rallied! I ended up getting a decent amount of work done, though certainly not as much as I’d hoped, but hey, you win some and you lose some.

The Ho is trying to get me to help her pick selfies right now. She got this cool new lipstick and she’s deciding which still to use. Also, she announced today that The Hug Life is coming back with some new videos! Pandas around the world rejoice!

Did my writing…holy Jesus what a win that is you guys…there was a time not long ago that getting such a late start on the day and knowing that I was likely to be interrupted again later in the day would have made me decide to ditch writing hour altogether…well not this time. I did my full 42 minutes. Very damn proud of that!

I’m at this stage of the rewriting process — early stages, still “evaluating” the manuscript I’ve written — where I’m organizing all my scenes that I’ve written out onto index cards, and I’m going through and IDing plot holes…and I’m realizing that my plot is pretty goddamn airtight. No major plot holes. Some MINOR ones, but nothing huge. And that was really cool, honestly. It’s because my plot is so *simple*, sure…but still nice to see. Mostly, I have some evening out to do of the plot. Too much time here, not enough time here, losing the thread on this element of the plot here, etc.

Anywho, tomorrow we soldier on. Needs to be a solid editing day. Night!
