…it’s TEN DAYS until I hit quadruple digits on this mofo. The millennial! A new era shall be born! Y2K strikes again! Party like it’s 999 (in nine days. Also, Prince: too soon. We miss you).

I was sick sicky sick sickness today. Still am. Have a cough now. It fucking sucks balls. But I took drugs a bit ago, so I have this little rush of energy right now, right before bed, which is obviously amazing. Great timing. I had to call off an editing session with Josh tomorrow, which KIIILLLLSSSS me because I know he’s trying to get that thing finished soon. That was frustrating. I’m also a full day behind on my Netflix work because of being sick the last two days…but that I’m confident that if I can just take it easy and recouperate this weekend, I can baller that shit next week and make up all my lost time.

Vlog from today is uploading right now. Cooper did this thing tonight after walkies that I’ve never seen him do before; he stole one of my shoes from by the front door, took it into the closet, and then proceeded to stuff a couple of his favorite toys inside it. I imagine he was probably using the shoe to, like, prop them up so he could chew on them? I don’t know. It was the funniest thing. I wish I’d actually seen him when he was in there.

I took the evening after walking the pups off, and just hung out on the couch. That was a much needed respite. I did narrations today too, so that was good. It’s the end of the billing cycle, and I know they always make a big push with lessons. We’ve definitely fallen behind, us narrators, but no matter. We shall prevail, eventually. This is how it always goes, there’s a huge push for a month or two, and then the incoming lessons slow to a trickle. Hopefully this push keeps up, though. Give me enough work for a few months, you know? That would be dope.

Anywho, writing on this new iPad is definitely going to give me bigger paragraphs, I think, because the screen is SO FREAKING WIDE. The apple keyboard will only type with the iPad in landscape mode, whereas with my last keyboard, I could use it in either portrait or landscape mode. So not only are we oriented differently here, but the iPad itself is fucking massive. I’ve said a million times today, but it might be TOO massive. Too big to be a portable device, and I’m not an artist who needs that extra canvas space, you know? What I do like about the larger size, however, is that it actually makes it a lot more comfortable typing on my lap, like I am right now. The extra width gives some nice stability.

That’s enough for now. Sleep well kiddos. Wish me luck on feeling better quickly, and we’ll all see how this iPad Pro experiment goes down. Will I write another novel on this thing? Perhaps. Perhaps.

Artwork tonight is by Vincent Di Fate.
