I trekked it with Joshua this evening. It’s always a good day when I get to do that, you know? Course you do, cuz you all listening to that shit, right? RIGHT?!! The episodes we watched tonight weren’t thaaaaat great, but they weren’t terrible either. No…the “terrible” is yet to come, I’m afraid. But we shall not dwell upon the negatives! No! We shall celebrate the positives and move on from the rest 🙂
We’re *almost* done with season two…which means I have a shit-ton of work ahead of me editing this damn thing down for release. Genuinely think that shit’s going to take me a solid two months of work. At least. In my favor, I do have a tried-and-true method now and templates all set up…so that’s nice. But it’s still a TON of work. Don’t get it twisted. But, I still look at it all this way: the effort is worth it because the show then lives on in eternity. All the work I put in now will shine forever. It makes it worth doing it right.
I had an *excellent* work day today. It was great. I’m ONE video away! Sorta. I still need to go through and do another pass on all the videos I’ve done this week to fine-tune them and make sure they’re working well. That will take me a full day tomorrow…but then that’s it! I get to tell my boss, Mr. Reed, that I’m ready to move on to help with the next project, whatever that may be. Very happy about that.
I might even take a few hours to play some golf on Friday. I know. Crazy talk.
But that was the only other thing I did today: work. Work work work. I get like that when the end of a project is coming.
Anyway, this blog is going up tonight early because I am pooped. Liz is out watching DCC with Kerry and Andrew in the living room. She’s been under the weather today. We’re pretty positive it’s allergy-related, but still no fun. I was there a few months ago. Kerry and Andrew *killed* it today at Harry Potter land, apparently. Came back with some crazy-cool swag. Andrew got himself a wand, the Elder wand of course, AND he found a legit cool well-made version of the time-winder that Hermione uses in Prisoner of Azkaban. It looks so cool. Has all the writing on the sides of it, spins, and has sand in the center and errything.
So, yeah…good day.
