It was waaaaarrrmmmmm today. Very hot.
The Ho just informed me that it’s going to be 101 degrees tomorrow. And I stole a sneak peak at her weather app and saw that it’s going to be 100 degrees on Monday. WTF Los Angeles? What are you trying to prove? That it’s still summer? Well, congrats, you’ve accomplished that feat. Here’s your medal.
The Ho, Arg, Kristen and I spent most of the day down by the pool, keeping cool, watching all of the shenanigans going on around us as it seemed like the never-ending parade of bachelorette parties would…well, never end. Seriously, I have never before seen such a ratio of women to men. It was crazy!
The music was fun, the pool kept us cool, we’d been able to set aside a set of pool deck chairs and a pair of umbrellas that kept the sun out of our faces. That was so clutch. That was Arg’s know-how, since he’d been here for his bachelor party; get to the pool early, snag the best chairs, and then enjoy the rest of the day. We went to breakfast after that and ate with the pups, that was awesome. Then we went back and hung out at the pool all day.
The Ho and I did take a very brief nap in the room when we fed the Coops and the Coco. That was also clutch. Then all the sudden it was evening times and we were ready for dinner. We went to a steakhouse and holy bejesus did Liz and I get way too much food. We should have shared a steak. But we did our best to mow it all down, and then we came back to the hotel room for what turned out to be the rest of the evening. Except for a nice walk with the pups, who are now both asleep.
It’s been a really fun trip out here. Palm Springs is a very odd mix of nice and ghetto…but it does have a charm to it. No question. I can see why people like coming out here.
Oh! And we found two new leashes for Cooper and Coco and they were only $9! How awesome is that? Very awesome.
Night, kids. See you tomorrow!
