Today was good. I wrote. I cleaned. I couch potatoed. I walked doggies. I bathed.
I think it’s been…two months since we last vacuumed our whole house? Yikes! And that’s on me 😛 Well, both of us, I suppose, but mostly me because I am the one who does the vacuuming on a regular basis. I dropped the ball. But today, that sad ball got picked up!
We definitely need a new vacuum. Which sucks (see what I did there), because we just bought this one about 18 months ago. It leaks from the bottom, and not from, like, a hole that I can just slap some duct tape on – it leaks from where the Hepa filter plugs in and it’s because it’s just a cheap fucking piece of plastic that doesn’t fit well enough. And Eureka vacuums are only warrantied for a year…so, yeah. Don’t buy Eureka vacuums! They’re cheap pieces of shit.
BUT…it did work well *enough* to clean the house today and man, does that feel good. As does the shower.
Anyway…just had talkie talks with the Ho for a while, and now it’s midnight! Time for the sleeps.
Watched baseball today and the A’s managed to win, which means that we knocked out the Mariners from the postseason, officially. That’s twice in three seasons we’ve done that (though it wasn’t head-to-head back in 2014).
