So, I just ran across a site that anyone here in California should check out. It’s called ballot.fyi and they cover all of the ballot measures that are up for a vote this november. The ballot measures during Presidential election years are always the biggest, and they REALLY impact our lives here in the big CA, so being informed on each of them is super, super, super important.
So, if you live in the golden state, take a minute to look at the site. It’s non-partisan, and I found it to be very clearly informative. Someone went to design school.
The word for today is: blech.
Today was up and down on the productivity scale. I really need to psych myself up and bear down with my bear hands. I’ll say this: I put in my hours today. I just know I can be so much more productive during those hours. I don’t know what it is, except that I’m not applying myself. I’m in a funk.

Not happy about it, but I think I’m just going to go to sleep on it tonight, and try again tomorrow. What else can we do, right, except try again tomorrow?
I *did* write today, and I *did* do writing practice today. And I *about* to do the rest of my deliberate reading…that reading always seems to perk me up, because it’s about the benefits of putting in practice are.
It’s not that I’m not sitting down and doing work, because I am doing that…I’m just in a funk. It’s frustrating. I do have the track record of this blog to tell me that this happens every few months, and the cure is to just keep going.
The Ho just came in and is telling me about this romance book that she’s reading. It must be really good, because she rarely comes in like this, just bursting to share how good it is and why it’s good. I don’t know if I’ve said this on the blog before, but I’m always enamoured with her passion for books. Big time. I love how much she loves them, and how many of she reads. She’s my reader. She’s the one I write for. Can’t tell you how lucky I feel having someone to write for like that, and someone who loves reading so much. Love you bear!
Anywho, that’s what I got tonight. Tomorrow…could be a shitshow. I have to go into the DMV at 9:30. Hopefully it doesn’t take too long…
