Remember that movie when we were kids? Man…Homeward Bound was intense, I remember. Two dogs and a cat, braving the wilderness to reunite with their humans.

I actually remember watching to original version of that movie, called The Incredible Journey, when I was even younger. The movie came out in, like, the 50s or 60s. 60s, I think. Loved that one too, except it had a narrator the whole way through instead of having the animals talk, if I remember correctly.

Speaking of animals, Cooper and Coco are currently on the bed here at home as happy as little clams. Coops did his customary body rub around the carpet while the Ho and I washed up for bed. Coco is currently a loaf between Liz’s legs.

So, we had breakfast at a diner around the corner from our Air BnB this morning. It was greasy and delicious. Then, it was off to the airport to catch our flight home. We stopped in St. Louis for about a half hour, and then took the last leg to LAX. Rode the flyaway bus to Van Nuys, took a taxi home and dropped off our bags, and then immediately hopped into the car to go and pick up the pups.

Liz had the (brilliant) idea to stop by Spitz on our way to K-Bear and Arg’s, and we ate dinner with them before taking the pups off their hands. Apparently, they were well-behaved. For the most part.

Now we’re home, and I can hardly keep my eyes open. I am EXHAUSTED.

Work tomorrow, probably a really solid nap, and then at night we go to see Fantastic Beasts at the ArcLight in Hollywood with Kristen and Arg.

Huzzah!
