We made it! We’re home. And I’m feeling better! Merry Christmas!
Something happened -nothing dangerous- on our flight home which was very distressing. It’s not my story to tell beyond what I felt myself witnessing the event, which was anger, disgust, and uncertainty, but if you’d like an account of what happened, you’re more than welcome to visit Liz’s profile or her twitter feed. Some unprofessional behavior from some Southwest employees in regards to her emotional support animals, which both Coco and Cooper are, *for* *reals*, and it definitely put a damper on what was otherwise a truly wonderful Christmas day.
It’s already half past 1 (we watched White Christmas, and I feel so old timey, hence the “half-past,” so I don’t think I’ll make this entry a long one, but here’s the rundown:
Had a late sleep-in, christmas morning style.
Ate breakfast with Scott and Addie which was amaaaaazeballs delicious. Especially the cinnamon rolls.
Opened presents with Seth and the parents via FaceTime, and we all revealed our secret Santas. That was so much fun.
Went on a long walk with Scott and Addie for the pups.
Packed up and hung out for a little bit in our Airbnb.
Then off to the airport, shenanigans, touchdown in LA, taxi home.
Opened presents and snuggled on the couch and finished watching White Christmas which we’d started watching earlier in the week.
Twas a wonderful day, all in all, and we’re so so glad to be home. The pups are all snuggled in bed and my eyes are getting all droopy. Sleep time it is. Good night.
