And Disjointed is back!
The Ho taped the fourth episode of her show tonight. We just got back from that, actually. I didn’t actually get to see the entire taping tonight, for reasons that I shall not name explicitly…but I *did* get to see all her scenes, and that was the most important part 😛
I was up again today at 6:30, this time right on the dot. Not 10 minutes afterwards. Did my writing. Did my Netflixing. Did my narrating.
I did not get a nap today, unfortunately. Getting over to the studio in time to have some dinner with the Ho precluded that…and it’s look like I’ll have to sleep in a bit tomorrow in order to get enough sleep…but nothing too bad. I’m such an old man…seriously. But, these are the things that whistle through my head as I’m trying to put together the perfectly scheduled day. The perfect routine.
Jesus is a biscuit. Just let him sop you up.
The Ho is texting right now with one of her cast members, and they’re discovering their mutual love of RuPaul’s Drag Race.
Anyway…so, I had to attend to something building-related tonight, which ate up a decent chunk of time that I’d otherwise have been watching the taping…but at the end of the day, it only took about an hour, which is nothing. Could have been so much worse.
And the Ho killed it. She really did. This episode was definitely a challenge, and she rose to occasion. I know that I’m biased and all that shit…but no bs, you need to check out my wife in this show when it comes out. She’s doing some of her best work…her best, I think, actually. Every episode.
Okay, so my dog just did the cutest thing. Coops jumped up on the bed after eating his nighttime treat, jumped up over on Liz’s side of the bed and looked at me, kind of turned around, and then jumped back down onto the ground. He does that kind of stuff all the time, so I paid it no mind. THEN he came over to my side of the bed and was rooting around in my clothes on the floor for a place to settle down, again, normal Coopy stuff…but then I look down and I see that he’s laid down along the edge of the bed, as close as he can get to me on the ground. So I give him a pet. A second later, he’s *curled* himself up on the ground at the head of the bed, right where I’d lay my head, and he’s leaned his head back so he can look at me…
So I take the hint, and I pick him up, and set him down on the bed…and he curls up right against me, and he’s currently completely passed out. I think he missed me tonight.
Good night, guys. More to report tomorrow.
