So…I pulled the trigger and bought myself a new messenger/laptop bag today.

A friend of mine from back in the Maggiano’s days -shoutout to Rob- asked Facebook the other day for recommendations from his stylish friends for a new computer bag…and I saw that post and was like, man, that’s a friggin great idea, asking your friends for recommendations on where to look for something you know really nothing about.

Well, I pilfered his list of responses, and I found this manufacturer that was having a massive winter sale on their bags…Knomo USA, I think is the company; they’re British…but their shit was, like, 50% off. Some stuff even 70%. So, I jumped. Got the approval from the Ho on “ooo, that one looks nice!” and I bought dat shit. $350 bag for $163. Yeeessssssss. I hadn’t used any of my spendin’ money for a little while, so it didn’t break the bank. Very happy 🙂

Today was all over the place, mostly because I had to leave during what would normally be writing time to take Coops over the hill -which was a freaking nightmare, oh my good, the traffic- to get his teeth cleaned. Got a thumbs up from the teeth peeps, too, when I picked him up. They said his mouth looks good. No sign of gum disease, and only mild plaque buildup. Whew!

Coco was so friggin cute today, too, Jesus Christ. She was so funny while Coops was gone. She followed me everywhere, wanted to be held, was playful…I think she was probably a bit nervous that Cooper wasn’t around, to be honest. As much as the two of them “tolerate” each other most of the time, I do think that Cooper makes Coco feel safe. We’ve seen her go to him when she’s feeling insecure at doggie meet ups. And she was SO happy when I brought Cooper home; waggy tail, followed him around for a couple minutes, wanted to smell all over him.

Love my dogs.

Tomorrow is filming day, and I aim to have a regimented morning. I will say the big win today was that I woke up right on time. I didn’t take any benadryl before bed, and man was getting up so much easier. That seems to be the trick. Keep up on my non-drowsy 12-hour meds, and avoid needing a Benadryl at night.

Cooper was my shadow today when he came home from the vet. He had to be within a few feet of me at all times. I mean, he usually follows me around anyway, but tonight he had to be right next to me all night. He just leaned over at the foot of the bed so his head rests right on my foot.

I think he’s glad to be home.
