So, I told the Ho that “irawrites” was taken as a domain name by some dude who hasn’t updated his site since aught-7…and she just came up with “irahewrote” as an alternative…which I’m not too hot on, but she thinks I’m an idiot for not considering. Maybe she’s right…kinda sounds like “murder she wrote”…but I dunno. Thoughts?
I like “Ira writes” because it can sound like both an action, like I’m writing (and I like that it’s present-tense), and it can sound like a noun…like these blog entries are “irawrites.”
But, doesn’t matter much because it’s taken. By some other dude named Ira. He wrote essays about George Bush and stuff…his site looks more like it’s from 1997 than 2007, and that’s not just me being petty about it 😛 Go ahead, go take a look. I wonder if he’d sell it to me for cheap…it’s possible. I’ll try emailing him.
I had a day OFF today and holy shit I didn’t do shit. I played some PlayStation…finally started “No Man’s Sky” and guess what…? I LIKED IT. I like it. I really did. It’s really not intuitive to learn, to say the least, and it’s HARD. Much harder right out the gate than something like Fallout or Skyrim…which I realize aren’t good comps, but those are the only other games I know, guys, so cut me a break.
I played some more Fallout…cleared out my first major “dungeon” today, or finished clearing it out. Took me a couple days, playing an hour or so at a time. But that’s only because I like sneaking around rather than going in gun blazing. That takes a lot more time. It’s a fun game…but again, I can tell it’s not going to catch on with my quite the same as Skyrim did, and that’s just because Skyrim was so friggin beautiful.
K. I’m going to read for a while.
