I just announced to the Ho that we are a fart free household. Which means not that we live in a land of no farts. No, quite the opposite – a fart free household means that everyone is free to fart as they wish. She said we were Freedom Farters, and I have to agree. We do enjoy the freedom of farting.
I didn’t do a whole hell of a lot today, you guys. I did play some Fallout. Sticking with the side quests, leveling up a bit. When I get tired of that, I think I’ll get back to the main quest. I like going and doing these small jobs, clearing out areas here and there, then looting all the people for their ammo and any rare gadgets they have. Then I take all that stuff back to my main digs and spruce things up there.
I like the building I get to do in this game – Skyrim didn’t have that, really. I mean, you could buy a house and kinda fix that up, but not like this. Plus, if I hadn’t done these side quests with the minute-men, I wouldn’t have any place to STORE all the junk that I’ve been collecting. And that gets annoying, because it weighs you down, you know? Of course you do.
I watched a bit of the baseball game today. We played the Dodgers in one of our split squads, and even though I couldn’t watch it whilst it was airing, I did get to see a bit of it using MLB.tv.
Coco has just placed one of her little hind chicken legs onto my keyboard. Love her!
I also did a few errands today. I had to get some more bourbon for Josh and I to sip next week while we watch the LAST TWO episodes of the Original Series. We ran out the last time we met. Which makes it sound like I drink a lot…but I think I bought two bottles of that bourbon in the past…15 months? I think that’s pretty healthy. And I don’t think I’d even have bought that much except for podcasting with the Josh. Then I swung by Target and got myself some basics. Underwear, a couple shirts, that kind of thing. I need a wardrobe refresh, and this certainly wasn’t that, but I did get myself some stuff I know I’ll wear.
And then, really, it was just hanging out with the pups and enjoying a day off. Tomorrow will be more of the same. Some reading. Some laundry. Watch the basketball game at 5pm. That kind of thing 🙂
This is what a real weekend feels like!
