We did our taxes today, yo! Yesssss. Finally done.
Even the years where I’ve owed money, which was not this year, thank you to baby jesus, even the years I’ve owed, I still love getting taxes done. Just so they’re out of the way and done, you know? It’s not that I enjoy the process of doing my taxes. Hell no. But, I do enjoy having them done. That’s the trick.
I worked today. All day. Getting shit done on this second season of TG1T. Finally! Almost finished listening to the second season. Then I move onto listening to the third season. Then…the real work comes and I have to edit it all down according to my notes, and the goal of having each episode clock in around 30 minutes.
I also jammed big time on the Netflix work today. My last week! That’s crazy…I’m gonna miss it, not gonna lie. Reed, if you’re reading this, I’m going to miss it full stop. I’ve loved the work. For reals. And maybe this whole author thing will come crashing down and I’ll come begging back for the work again 😛 I hope not…but at the very least, I will miss doing this editing work for Netflix.
I have more flix work to do, too. I wanted to be further along after today’s sessions, but alas, it was not meant to be. So, it’s time for the sleeps and up bright and early tomorrow to see if I can finish these two projects I said I would before 11am. Oi. Wish me luck.
