April, you really deserve better than a quick one tonight to send you off because you were yet another rather major month in which things got DONE.
I ended doing full-time contract work with Netflix, and I’m on the precipice of finishing the editing for both Seasons 2 *and* 3 of TG1T, which will be a major, MAJOR item off my checklist of “shit-to-do.” Oh my god you guys, I can’t friggin wait. Can. Not. Wait. So close.
Today was a wonderful day off. Kinda wish I had another one…but at the same time, I also feel ready to rock and roll tomorrow. I have my goals set hight, too — aiming to have 20 episodes knocked out. That would leave only six or seven left for Tuesday, which means I could then dive in on the next step, which is selecting the live clips from Josh and I watching the episode to put into the middle portion that transitions from us before watching to us after watching.
If that’s confusing, you should go and listen to one of our episodes from Season 1. Same format for seasons 2 and 3. If it’s not baroque, don’t fix it, am I right?
That’s all I got for tonight. I did some work today, watched some baseball, did some reading, played a little bit of Fallout.
A grand day off for what has truthfully been a grand month. A month filled with the anxiety of transition…but a grand month indeed.
