Today is Liz and my “panda”-versary…meaning that we have an ACTUAL anniversary now in the societal, which we are about to celebrate in a couple days, but TODAY is the day that Liz and I first got together. All the way back in 2004, 13 years ago. Crazy, right? Crazy. Happy Pandaversary!

I wrote 7,500 words today. To be precise, it was 7,523 words. 26 pages. I’ve never written that many before. It’s…crazy. In other news, the changing of the font size worked just fine, thank you. The other crazy part of the day was that I did that many words before 4:30 in the afternoon. Holy crap!

My day started off rough. I don’t know how to explain it, I just felt off. Hard time falling asleep. Felt anxious and disconnected. But then I spent some time during lunch with the Ho and just kept plugging away, and I finally had a couple breakthroughs with the story and my angst-y feelings.

Then, took a nap with the Ho, went on a walk with her and the pups, and then we sat down and we had a movie night. We watched The Thing, the one John Carpenter made in 1982. Did you know that movie was panned the year it came out??? Can’t freaking believe it. It’s SO GOOD. But, then again, ’82 was a year of stiff, STIFF competition. The Thing opened in direct competition with E.T., the highest grossing movie of all time, as well as Star Trek II, Tron and Blade Runner. I mean, jesus. What a year for SciFi! Also happens to be the year I was born 🙂

Anywho…time for sleeps. More writing tomorrow. Gonna be done with this book by this time next week, guys. The first rough ROUGH draft…but done. Ho-ly shit.

Night!
