Today was the last day of the 20Books Vegas conference, and man…I think today’s panels were actually the best of the whole weekend. Really. I loved today.
It was a really, really good conference. It was very affirming and empowering, and it was so pervasively positive. The con director said it very well today: not once was anyone heard tearing anyone else down. It was all constructive, supportive…and just, everyone seemed so EXCITED to be there. I’m really, really glad I got to be a part of it. The FIRST ONE. History! 🙂
I know I’ve said this before, but it’s just the truth: I wouldn’t be where I am right now with my book out, earning money as an author, without the 20Books to 50k group. I really wouldn’t. That group, and the podcasts that I listen to. Would. Not. Be. Here.
Also, ‘twas my nephew Henri’s first birthday today!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Love you, Henri 🙂 Here is a photo of him doing his best Coco impression and sitting in a lovely box:
