Am I turning a corner on this whole cold thing? Could it be going away already? I hope so!
I feel…better tonight. Still congested. Still had a fever for most of the day. But…better tonight
I took it easy today. I read in bed, I took naps with the pups, I listened to the rain. ‘Twas a sick day. One that SOUNDS restful, but that’s the thing about being sick, right? Nothing is restful. Everything hurts, even thinking.
But, again, on the positive side of things: I do feel better tonight. Hopefully that keeps up in the morning times. I was a very diligent patient today – I drank a lot of water and I took my meds every time I was supposed to.
Tonight, we went and hung out with Scott, Addie, JJ, her boyfriend and her roommate and we saw the latest Star Wars movie. Liz and I, obviously, were seeing it for the second time. They were all seeing it for the first time. Most everyone seemed to enjoy it, but they were also on board with it being so-so. To varying degrees 😛
Then, after that, we went to the theater’s bar…yes, it had a bar…in the BACK OF THE THEATER BEHIND THE SCREEN. I mean, there was a wall, but the bar was set up in the backstage area behind where the proscenium arch used to be. Where the fly space area is for backdrops to have been hoisted. It was seriously so freaking cool.
Anywho, it’s sleepy times. I hope I wake up feeling even better tomorrow. Good night!
