I might finally have Star Wars Despecialized in my clutches. Wish me luck. The Blu-ray Disc is burning as I type this.

Why, holy crap, WHY is this so insanely difficult? First of all…I realize there may be contractual reasons why Disney has yet to release the original trilogy in full HD without the “special edition” bullshit of the 1990s. Lucas might actually be preventing that from happening. But still…if you’re not going to sell us a product, we’re going to make it on our own…I just don’t understand why the people who have put in literally hundreds of hours into this de-specialization project make it so incredibly hard to get the files to make the Blu-ray Discs.

Like, INSANELY hard. Hard to find the download links (that one kinda makes sense, it is an unauthorized project), hard to download, and then once I finally FINALLY got the RAR files downloaded…it’s not a burnable file inside. I have to convert that shit. It took me 2 hours just for that last step. I almost threw my computer out the window.

But…it’s burning now. I pray to the good lord that when I pop it into my PS4, it will start up and play.

Empire and Return both went off without a hitch. Why is Star Wars so freaking impossible?

Anywho, that’s my life right now 😛 Or, at least it was this evening. I followed some sage advice from a writer far more experienced than I, and I took the day off from my manuscript completely. I couldn’t help myself but to think about it, but I didn’t work on it.

It was hard.

More news on all that coming, as soon as I figure out what the hell I’m doing. Long story short: I wanted to be done with the book this week. That doesn’t appear like it’s going to happen by a long shot. Sigh…

But we move forward.

That’s all I have for you tonight. I’ll see you on the flip.
