I had a good writing day today. Like…a legit good writing day.
There was a scene I was really struggling with…and I fixed it today. It’s fixed. I can feel it in my bones. I know it’s better. It’s the feeling I’ve been missing so much in this whole freaking book, and I finally fixed a part of it today. It was…awesome.
Now…I still wasn’t able to get as MUCH done as I wanted, but right now, to be honest, that’s not nearly as important as “finding” my story again. The whole reason I had to put a big “HALT!” sign up on this project was because I was writing and writing and I just couldn’t lock in, couldn’t get a feel of the story being REAL or actually living inside of it.
It happened today.
Huzzah.
Have a lot of work to do to get these first batch ready for my readers to dig into tomorrow. Wish me luck 🙂
