Crikey, you guys, my hands are DRY. They’re like a desert. With one “s.” Not the sweet stuff.

Here’s the thing about me and my hands: I hate, hate, HATE the feeling of moisturizer. I always have. I don’t like the way it feels in between my fingers. But, I’ve found a way around it: I moisturize before I go to sleep. That way, I’m asleep as it all soaks in. I don’t notice it, and it doesn’t bug me. But man, are my hands ready for that shit tonight. Doesn’t my blog just have the most wonderful personal details? 😛 Lol.

I had an amazing day today. I wrote exactly what I needed to between two writing sessions; one in the morning, and one in the evening. 2,600 words total. And GOOD words. The scenes are vibrant, specific, and interesting. At least I think they are. We’ll see what the readers think. Got around 1,000 of those words done in the morning, then I did some other writerly stuff and crossed a bunch of items off my to-do list (including setting up my first ever book ad, along with my first-ever kindle countdown deal), and then I did another 1,600 words in the evening.

The one thing that’s really suffering right now is narrations, which is a bummer because that’s our solitary source of income right now. Sigh. But these books are the future of my income, so the time I’m spending on them really is time well spent…I just wish I could be a little more efficient. We shall see. I know I can be, I just have to keep moving in that direction.

That’s all for tonight. It’s time for bed.

Night! 🙂
