So, the Warriors lost Steph Curry tonight like three minutes into their game with the Spurs…and they baaaarely managed to pull out a win. Praise be. It was a bit ugly, to be honest, though not in the usual way a Warriors game is “ugly,” ie- turnovers, turnovers, apple mf-ing turnovers. No, this ugliness came from the fact that they could just not get shots to fall. Scoring was very, very difficult…until the very end of the game, where Durant just torched them.

Steph sounds like he’s going to be okay, and they DID win a close, comeback game in the final few minutes of the 4th quarter, which has honestly not happened all that much this year at all, and is SO important when it comes to the playoffs. It was also encouraging HOW they won – Durant went off, and the defense absolutely shut the Spurs down. They almost didn’t score for the last four minutes or so. I will go on record as saying that I did not think they were going to win. I thought this was going to be another one of those inexplicable losses at home for the 17-18 season…and yes, this is *definitely* a game they should have won handily. The Spurs are a depleted team with several key injuries, the greatest of which is Leonard.

But, they did it.

Writing today was awesome. I finished this chapter that ended up being a bit longer than I expected, although not really all that much longer. Just need to crank out another 2,000-ish words tomorrow, and I’ll have 4 chapters written this week from SCRATCH to send my Beta team. It’s very exciting, and very satisfying. With the exception of the dud on Monday, this was one of the best writing weeks I’ve had in a very, very long time.

*contented sigh*

Played a bit of the Zelda with the Ho…we joined a gym down the street, which is MUCH excite…it was a grand day. Looking forward to closing out the week tomorrow in style. Night!
