It was “listening part deux” today. Lots of listening to my own voice along with Josh’s on headphones, taking notes, and working on projects around the house.

I organized all the boxes in my office today. THAT was dope. I also did laundry, which we were running looooowww on. Watched some baseball and some basketball. A’s won. Warriors lost a close one. Bummed about the latter – they were playing so well down the stretch of the game, and then they lost it on ONE stolen possession with 25 seconds or so on the clock. Shame.

Season 3 of TG1T is good. Really good. I know, now, because I’ve listened to all of it in the span of 48 hours. Tomorrow, I go through all my notes and make the adjustments (all of them are small), attach the correct credits, render them all out, put them through the ID3 tagging and artwork in iTunes, and then write up all their descriptions…and then they’re ready to go.

That probably takes me all day tomorrow, to be honest. I’m thinking about taking the day off on Monday. Maybe going and playing a round of golf. Just letting myself reset before I dive back into writing. We’ll see how I feel. BUT…I am feeling very, very ready to tackle Red Tower. Excited, even. Lots to figure out and fix…but I’m willing to fix it all now. Scrap what’s not working, and just get it where it needs to be. Identify where things can be punched up. Always keep things pushing forward. Always keep the edge-of-the-seat going.

Having this third season of the podcast out will be a major accomplishment. It puts a bookend on the podcast, even without including the next two seasons (which we’re almost done recording BOTH, actually)…because this was the first goal that we set when we started the podcast: watch the entire Original Series of Star Trek. Well, when these episodes post, we’ve done that finally. In a sense, it’s now a complete set. It makes me think about my books, actually. I can’t WAIT to get this book done and then the next book done, because then it’s a complete story. I can really push it, you know, because it’s DONE.

Anywho…that’s all for tonight. Hope you had a nice Saturday!
