Liz and I watched Coco tonight, the Pixar movie from last year, and it was *wonderful*. Really, really enjoyed it. It was exciting, touching, visually stunning, and signature-ly Pixar. Bravo! 🙂
Today started early! I woke up a full hour and a half earlier than usual to get the pups taken care of and get my WRITING DONE before we left to hang out with Kristen and Arg. That was magic. I was tired, sure, but I knew I was going to have a wonderful day if I got my writing anxiety taken care of first thing.
We went to this craft fair in DTLA called the Renegade craft fare, and we found lots of cool stuff. Teas, soda/mixer syrups, candles, all kinds of stuff.
Then we came home and watched the A’s beat the Red Sox in a very satisfying win after such an historic night last night with the no-no. We took a nice long nap after that, I went and got my haircut, and then we ended the night watching Coco together and eating pop-corn.
It was a really, really, really lovely day…and one of the BIGGEST keys to how wonderful this day was, was the fact that I got my writing done before it all.
So…that’s my focus right now. Get the writing done first. It just makes everything else so much better. I have big plans tomorrow. I’m going to get a lot of writing done. It’s happening. No “try,” no “if” “ands” or “buts”…it’s happening.
And with that in mind, I’m off to bed.
Good night! And watch Coco!
