Today was a good day.

I wrote 2,000 words. I read for (over!) an hour. I did some bank-stuff work and had a conference call with our financial advisor. And then, because of all that, I got to watch sports ball in the night times.

Of course, the sports ball was frustrating 😛

The Warriors lost. Ohhhhh, how frustrating that game was. They scored twelve points in the 4th quarter. TWELVE. They were UP twelve after the third. Really, reeaalllyyy frustrating game. They had the ball with, like, 20 seconds left on the clock, and Klay got trapped in the corner on a double-team, we HAD a timeout to use, and nobody called it. Insanity. They choked. Horrible game. But, at least I got to watch it 😛

The A’s lost, too, in extra innings to the Mariners. The AL West has been our Achilles so far this season; we can’t seem to beat anyone except the Rangers, who are a garbage team anyway.

Sigh…rough night for the Bay.

But, an excellent day for ME.

Liz starts filming tomorrow. Break a leg, bear! I’m in the home stretch on this second book…and an opportunity came my way today that I might say yes to. We’ll see. I have very few of the details at this point, so I’m not getting my hopes up too much, but it’s still exciting. Even if the money isn’t coming in yet to justify it in black and white, I *feel* like a full-time author. Finally.

Finally.
