Gonna make this one quick today because it’s time for the sleeps, BUT…I had a very, very lazy, and it was actually a very positive day. I wrote!
And you know what, it’s crazy to do this here on a “quick” entry, but I am undertaking a challenge starting today: I will write every day for 90 days. Every day. Even if it’s for a single, lone minute, I will write. And at the end of 90 days, I’m going to reward myself with something…I’m not sure what yet. But, I’ll figure it out.
There’s another layer to that goal, and that’s after 90 days, I want to be done with these next two Starstuff books. DONE. As in completely done. Off to the editors, anyway. That’d be right before Christmas. December 12th will be 90 days. Even on Thanksgiving, I must have written.
Ninety Days.
I can do it. I can get everything done I want to get done. I just need the consistency. That’s the other thing I did today: I did a decent amount of “free-writing.” I have a notes document open where I go to journal outside of my manuscript about what I’m writing and how I’m feeling when I sit down to write.
Today’s word count, Day 1 of 90: 658 words
Night!
