Today was day 6 of 90. I wrote 112 words, and my exercise was a round of golf with Josh…which was glorious.
First the writing: I imagined and outlined the first scene I will write tomorrow. It’s very clear. I should be able to bang it out. Wish me luck.
Golf was so fun. We haven’t played for a few weeks. I wasn’t particularly good today, but I did have a couple excellent puts. No greens in regulation, though. My irons continue to be my Achilles heel. Just can’t seem to play more consistently with them, at least on that course. I wonder if it’s because we’re hitting off of mats, which is not how irons are supposed to be played, I don’t think. I seem to play better with them on a full course, anyway.
Then we sat and drank Iced Tea in the shade, and talked about storytelling. It was grand.
I came home to walk the pups with bear, then I got poke for dinner which was sooooo freeaaakkkiing gooood and I watched the A’s absolutely destroy the Angels by a score of three touchdowns to a field goal. And after that, we watched the third episode of last year’s Sherlock (which is really THIS year’s for us in the States, but it aired last year in the UK). It started off so well! And then it fell apart.
Anywho…I’m tired from a long week of writing and agonizing over writing š It’s time for bed, and hopefully a little extra sleep will help me push over the top tomorrow. Wish me luck! š
