Tomorrow, I’m attempting somewhat to slay the beast.

It’s been a long, long time since I had a marathon writing day. They’re an important part of ye old writing life. Certainly not something to rely on the REGULAR…but there comes a point in any project where the marathon day must come into play. Often several points. Right? Right.

Well, I need to work on that kind of stamina. Even if I crash and burn tomorrow…which isn’t going to happen…I need to know that I have that reserve in there. So, this is tomorrow’s goal: 8,000 words. 8 hours of work.

I got everything done today that I wanted to get done. Halleloo. I wrote the chapter I was supposed to write. I recorded a test of the first chapter of Starstuff–which actually went quite well! I did all the other miscellaneous tasks on my to-do list. It was a very, very good day. And, I even got to walk the pups with the Ho, and sit through the Warriors game.

Now, it’s time for sleeps. I’m not going to ask for wishes of luck tomorrow, because luck is not what I need. What I need is focus, determination, and resilience. I can do this.

Good night!
