Guys. I made it to Vegas.

I left at the buttcrack today. Practically. Butt crack for me, anyway. But there was a volunteers luncheon for the conference, and I wanted to be there. I got there just in time! I drove straight from LA to there, and I just made it. Thanks, Waze!

The drive was easy. It usually is, unless you’re coming back to LA on a Sunday. Then the drive is murder. But it was free and clear today, which was nice. The only bump in the road per se was that audible decided to stop working yesterday evening and was still down as of this morning. Like, the entire network was down. At least for MY account it was down. I couldn’t access anything. So, I couldn’t listen to what I’d planned to listen to. Le sigh. I had some podcasts to dive into tho, and that was nice šŸ™‚

So, after lunch, I checked into my hotel and took a snooze. I got up just in time to dress and head back over to the other hotel (I’m staying at the next door hotel to the conference) and catch one of the limo busses to a dinner that the founder of 20 Books was throwing for his publishing company. That was a lot of fun. I got to meet several other very, very nice authors, and a number of industry people as well. All so nice. My lord. Seriously, wonderful people.

And bam. Now I’m back in my hotel and realizing that I need to sleeeepĀ because I have to get up freaking early tomorrow. So. Here we are. Excited for the conference. Excited to make new friends, learn new stuff. Excited to be here.

Night!
