I felt like today was about coming back down to earth after the 20Books conference.

I went and looked at a co-working space today. I think I’m going to give it a try. For at least a month or two. We’ll see. I’m going to do it for a month or two with this rewrite and see if it’s a help for my productivity or a hinderance. Wish me luck 🙂

It’s definitely an adjustment with this smaller keyboard. The ; and ‘ keys are closer together. That will take some getting used to. But, again, it’s the same size as the keyboard that I used to use for my last iPad. I should be able to get used to it.

Cooper just made the most amazing jump from my writing chair here in the bedroom over to the bed. Well done, chap!

So, yeah. The conference. It was really, really amazing this year. I believe I said this already, but I remember thinking last year that it was going to be hard to beat that first conference. So much excitement. So much uninhibited enthusiasm. That kind of thing doesn’t last forever, you know? I didn’t think it was going to even last into the second year. I figured this year would be fine, still amazing, but not quite as special.

I was wrong.

This year was BETTER than last year. By, like, 10-fold.

Mainly, it was because I’d *met* a lot of these people before. I’d rubbed shoulders with them last year. I’d made friends with them online over the past 12 months.

That paid dividends big time this year, because it meant that if I knew just one person in a group of people, I could go over, say hi, be introduced or introduce myself, and I was off and running. I met SO MANY people this year. So many amazing authors. So many wonderful people. Everyone was so nice. So excited. And the venue and the panels this year were seriously top-notch. So pro. So much content. Really impressive.

Anywho, it’s time for bed. I have to work tomorrow, so it’s up early for me. Again. I was up early today, too 😛 It’s been a trend, I suppose.

Good night!
