Got me a bit misty-eyed. She is so underrated, y’all. More people need to listen to Brandi Carlile. More people need to GO to listen to Brandi. Including the Ho and I. We’re going to catch her the next time she’s in LA.
If you don’t know who she is, she has one of those classically amazing bluesy/folksy/blue grassy kind of voices. An all-timer in that regard. She does amazing covers, too. In fact, I’m pretty sure that’s how I know of her in the first place, though I’m struggling right now to hang onto exactly what it was…”Creep,” maybe?
Anywho; today was my first day working in the Netflix offices. They continue to chug along in there, same as when I last left them. Glad to have the work, and glad to be inside the office working. That kind of face-time is invaluable, and it’s really awesome meeting everyone.

I got my writing done, too, even on a day like today, which was so hectic because I’m getting all set up with my access and gear. I wrote in my car, actually, in the parking lot, as the entire thing filled. I got one worksheet done, but it was a biggie.
Tomorrow, I have a specific goal: finish the rest of these worksheets. Then, onto filling in plot notes. I think I can have those done by the end of this week, or the end of next. It depends on how long it actually takes me as opposed to how long I’ve planned for it to take me. I planned for 12 hours. We’ll see how that goes 😛
I came home and got to watch the Warriors beat the Magic. It was actually quite the exciting game. They were down by 18 points at one point in the first half. Not good. But, they finished strong, They’re finally starting to play well with KD as the team leader. I suppose I should have expected that to happen, but I can’t honestly say I did. I thought they would struggle until Steph returned. They’re about to get healthy. Watch out.
Cooper is snuggled up so tightly against me. He kill me. He missed me today. I know Coco and Liz did to 😛 I missed them! It’s weird working away from home, but, I can see the value in it. No distractions. Coworkers. But, I do miss fam…
Omg, Coco just shifted into me, and she’s curled up in exactly the same position as Cooper. Even their little ears are folded up in the same way. Copy and paste.
That means it’s time for sleepies. Good night. Gonna be a long week, this first week, getting used to everything.
