Today kinda revolved around food.
We woke up and met Julianne at this breakfast spot called Zell’s. It was reaaalllyyy good. They had German pancakes there, which I’ve never had, and they were delish. They’re pretty eggy, and kind of like a collapsed puff pastry…if a puff pastry was like an eggy crepe, I guess…and it was topped with rhubarb and you squeeze a lemon on top. So. Good.
Then we went down to Steven Smith’s Tea tasting, which is right inside the factory area, and we sampled some new teas. We found a couple we liked. Bought ’em. Then, we came home and took the pups on a nice long walk, which involved saying hi to Addie and stalking a puppy that lives close to the park.
We took a nap, then J came over and we ate some of our snack food. Then we went down the street to the Walgreens to pick up some stuff, and went grocery shopping again at New Seasons. I got some cider 🙂
THEN…we went into Alberta and we had dinner at Bollywood Theater which is one of my favorite spots in Portland to get food. Mmmmmm. And Salt & Straw for ice cream afterwards! That was with Scott and Addie and Mike, too! He came all the way up. It was nice.
We played some Mariokart at Scaddie’s after that, then walked home…and now it’s sleepy times and I think I’m going to watch some of the Warriors game that played tonight.
Such a good day!
