Y’all, I just spent a perfect evening with my wife.

I drove home from work and traffic wasn’t too bad (victory!).

I picked her up outside, and we went straight to Pho So 1, our favorite pho place. We had to wait a few minutes for a table, but nothing bad, and the pho was sooo goood as were the lemon sodas.

And THEN we went next door to the 99 Ranch (an Asian food grocery store) and got some delicious goodies to take home (these rice noodles with little salty shrimp in them, big box of hello panda cookies, chrysanthemum tea, etc, etc)…

…and then we came home and we played Beat Saber on the VR headset for literally two hours. Two hours of straight up cardio. Well, that’s combined. I played for about an hour, and Liz played for about an hour, switching off every 30 minutes or so.

Beat Saber is SO FUN. Holy crap. You feel like you’re training to be a Jedi. And it really gets ya sweating 🙂

I took a shower, and now it’s time for the sleeps. Work was good. Writing was good, too.

Night, y’all!
