Today was both a good day and a stressful day.

It was a good day because I got a metric shit ton of work done. All the little straggly bits from my week that I didn’t finish, plus a lot more. AND a decent amount that stuff were things that took real energy, real creative thought and time…the kind of thing I’ve really struggled with getting done.

Well, I did them.

Because of doing them, I think my anxiety spiked a bit. Plus we got a four-legged house guest in the afternoon, and don’t get me wrong here, I am SO excited he’s here, but it is always a bit of chaos thrown into the system to have a new dog in the house. I know my anxiety spiked because of that.

Oh. And, my allergies are banaaaaanas right now. Legit bananas. I took Coops and our house guest (his name is Tommen Barkrathian, First of His Name) out for a walk, and I thought my nose would never stop running. It was intense. But, I took my allergy meds and we’re all good now.

Anxiety went away, too, by the end of the evening. It was a combination of just calming down, eating some food, taking my meds, and finishing up what I wanted to finish.

So…if I were to have written this blog in the middle of my day, or late afternoon…it would have been different than it is now. Right now I feel…just normal. And tired. Ready for the week.

This week’s Film School episode is particularly good. It really feels like Josh and I are starting to find a groove with this show. Find our rhythm. Doing the Cutting Room Floor convos before we record the main show intro has been a stroke of genius. We get all that deep and fired up but off-topic convo out of the way before we record the regular show, and it’s working like fire.

It reminds me of how when we were recording Two Guys One Trek, without fail, it always felt like the banter and the flow was faster, more relaxed, and “in the pocket” on the second episode as compared to the first. And I think it’s pretty simple why: we were warmed up by the time we got to that second episode.

It’s the same thing with doing CRF before Film School. I love it.

Anyway…episode drops in the morning. I highly recommend listening to it 😉

For today and tonight, I say…I hope you had a wonderful weekend, and let’s all have a badass week, yeah?

Yeah.
