Podcasting sure takes it out of you.
I am *exhausted* right now. Whew!
Josh and I podcasted, and it was a good one tonight. We watched The Wild Bunch, which was a western that neither of us had ever seen before. To be honest…the western genre of films is a entire era that I hardly know anything about. I wasn’t raised on westerns. I haven’t picked them up on my own in my older years.
This was a good one. I won’t say more than that and ruin anything 😛

I definitely feel like I’m still making my own way around this story structure stuff, particularly the genre breakdown stuff. That still feels clumsy to me, but I think it’s for a very valid reason: I haven’t been doing it for that long. And, I just get the feeling that this particular western is a bit of a “new wave” of western stories, one that was taking the genre and pushing it into new areas.
It made for some really interesting discussion, though.
Work today was long. Good, but long. It was a “friday,” you know? I was tired from a long, good week of work. As it should be.
I feel very tired, and very content right now. Looking forward to the weekend.
