Went to a pool party today at Ashley’s house, and it was perfect day for it. Ie – hot as balls.
They’re moving into a new, giant house, and they didn’t have a pool at their previous house. So: party! It was a lot of fun, and the pool was dooooope. So warm. And salt water instead of chlorinated. Put on plenty of sunblock, and stayed in the shade too. No sunburn!
Both Liz and I remarked when we were lathering up the sunblock that it smelled like Hawaii.
We’d love to have a pool. I mean, honestly, who wouldn’t, but I mean that we’d use the shit out of it. It’s such a great way to cool down from the heat.
Before we went over, I got my podcast stuff done. Episodes are all posted for this week on the main feed and the Patreon feed. We watched Shawshank, and had a really, really good discussion over it. It’s one of our best episodes, I think, which I was so worried about because the raw version of it was almost an hour and forty minutes long!
I got that cut down quite nicely. It’s still one of our longer ones at 70 minutes, but it’s a really solid 70 minutes.
Anyway…the podcast is growing. That’s exciting to see. Three weeks in a row that we’ve exceeded 100 downloads in the week, which is a milestone! Granted, it’s not much at all yet, but we’re still a very, very new podcast. It’s already growing more than Two Guys One Trek did at first. Releasing consistently really is the fucking key to growing an audience, man. Big time.
It’s time for the sleeps. I have a couple small things to do before bed.
