It’s Monday, but it feels like a Sunday.
I wrote today! I wrote in the morning for a half hour, and I just wrote for about another 15 minutes.
I’m staaaaarttttiiinnggg to get into the habit of writing before bed. I wouldn’t say it’s a habit yet. More of an obligation. But it’s getting there.
I set up my little tracking journal for the writing sessions, and as I’ve talked about already here, I want to dip my toes into modeling and see if it’s for me. No, not the underwear kind 😂 though that is my favorite joke on my author biography. Models, as in the things you put together with glue and then paint and add lights to.
It’s all very complicated, hard stuff, I’m sure. But I want to learn. It could be a good weekend pass time I think. If I like doing it. Could turn out that I don’t like doing it, and it’s just the idea of the end result that I find desirable. That’s entirely possible. But, there’s only one way to find out.
I think I might start on the Defiant. It’s a bit easier to put together because it doesn’t have nacelles sticking out of its body that I have to get straight and keep upright, nor does it have a lot of aztec’ing to do because it’s a small ship, and thus they made the paneling on it pretty large.
We’ll see.
I’m excited about it. All the more reason for me to sit down and do my writing bits.
Work tomorrow, and it’s past bed time. Time for the sleeps.
